Dedicated to outsiders, losers
This newsletter is about fails, absurd screwjobs, and freak-out situations that happen in everyone’s life.
We love nice success stories. They inspire us and create an illusion of our ability to do anything. Success is a thing imposed on us by the modern world. People deliver lectures on success, write books about it, and shoot films describing it. Damn it, this bloody world even has success coaches! I think it’s way too stupid.
We won’t talk about successful people here. Our heroes are those who are on the other side, those who are used to suffer “the slings and arrows of outrageous fortune,” and those whom their fate doesn’t spare but turns into a kind of punching bag for Mike Tyson — poor schlimazels, outcasts, shlumps, and homeless. We’ll talk about those expelled from universities, fired from jobs, renounced by families, fined, or sent to sobering stations, and about those who have nowhere to go and continues to sit on a roadside in the rain with stuff packed into a cardboard box… This blog is dedicated to them — outsiders, losers.
"I can tell from my own experience, winning is one thing, but out of losing I always learned more for the future. So one grows stronger in losing”. (c) Niki Lauda
